Who We Are

	The HAND Research Foundation’s mission is to promote research and understanding about Iran’s economy through:

		Building a network of current and future Iranian economists;

		Providing information for researchers who work on Iran’s economy;

		Showcasing scholarly work by Iranian economists;

		Conducting conferences and forums for discussing various aspects of economic development in Iran; and

		Supporting research on Iran's economy and awarding scholarships to students who are admitted to PhD programs in top-ranked schools

	The HAND Research Foundation is part of The HAND Foundation which was established by Ms. Noosheen Hashemi and Mr. Farzad Nazem in 2003.
